There's plenty of nightlife to be had in Malaga. It has everything you want from relaxing and quiet wine-bars to the more modern nightclubs. If you don’t fancy the bars and clubs the shops are open late for a bit of late night shopping and a wander around Malaga’s beautiful streets.
Most of the bars, clubs and restaurants in Malaga are in the historical centre. You will find bars for everyone here with a variety of music played from Spanish, to 80’s, rock, house, punk, and jazz. Anden, Siempre Asi, Vankuver and Luna Rubia are all good bars to visit but don’t get there till late as it doesn’t start getting busy until 11-12pm. Almost all the bars entrance is free and there are even some bars with live music. The bars are open till 7 in the morning.
If you don’t fancy a night on the town then Malaga’s theatre “Miguel Cervantes Municipal Theatre” is worth a visit, holding regular concerts, theatre and dance performances. Located behind Plaza de la Merced 95 222 4100.
To be in the know, grab a copy of Malaga's daily paper “El Sur”. If you don't speak Spanish, don't worry - you can get an English version.
